James Ferraro tours Europe

Underground hero behind 'Far Side Virtual' has a jolly to the continent of castles and :/ currencies.

LA resident James Ferraro is touring Europe this february for the first time in over 12 months. It’s a whistle-stop affair, but fans of this singular artist are advised to make it down with great haste.

Ferraro makes concept albums that are always fun satires on modern existence, with his supremely ambivalent iridescent ringtone symphony ‘Far Side Virtual’ [Hippos In Tanks, 2011] featuring on our best-of-2011 albums list. More like DIY musicals than conventional gigs, his last appearance in the UK, around his ‘Nightdolls With Hairspray’ release saw Ferraro joined by a pleather-clad gang spraying aerosol.
