James Blake & Bon Iver - Fall Creek Boys Choir [stream]

You can finally hear this much-anticipated James Blake and Bon Iver track, premiered on BBC Radio 1 last night.

We blogged about a potential James Blake and Bon Iver track last week, after the prince of dubstep tweeted: “24th August 2011 – James Blake & Bon Iver ‘Fall Creek Boys Choir”. Now you hear the result of the collaboration, as BBC Radio 1 had premiered it last night.

We’re not sure whether Fall Creek Boys Choir is only a one-off collaboration, or if there is more material to come. Bon Iver provides vocal delivery, while James Blake holds the production flag; but it has been given that the pair did not meet in person to work together. Instead, they composed the song in spring over email after a a chance meeting at this year’s SXSW festival.

Fall Creek Boys Choir will be available digitally on iTunes on the 29th August, which you can stream above. Look out for the farm animal sound effects. Oof!

James Blake also revealed information about his forthcoming release, as he stated, “Enough Thunder – Oct 2011”, at the bottom of the Youtube page for Fall Creek Boys Choir. Enough Thunder is a new James Blake track that he has been performing live recently. More new material from the dubstep superstar, hurray!
