James Blake announces '200 Press' for 1-800 Dinosaur
James Blake is releasing three new songs and one poem on a record called '200 Press' via 1-800 Dinosaur.
Lead track 200 Press first got an airing on one of James Blake's BBC Radio 1 residency shows back in the summer, with Blake explaining that it was so-titled because only 200 copies are going to be pressed up (although 1-800 Dinosaur have since mentioned that there'll be "probably more tbh", so, er, maybe scratch that).
Blake described the track to us as a "techno-y tune" in a recent feature about the 1-800 Dinosaur crew, while a press release for the record says that it was made "using synthesisers and a computer". The poem on the flipside is called Words That We Both Know and first appeared on Blake's Essential Mix. Besides a digital release, you'll be able to cop it on 12" and double 7".
Stream a snippet of the track now and keep your eyes peeled for the record when it drops.
1-800 Dinosaur release '200 Press' on December 8th 2014.
