Jaisu - Drum Circle

Edinburgh producer Jaisu is following up 2013's 'A Short Album' with 'A Long Player', a new album for Astral Black.

Jaisu's been making rap beats for donkeys, starting with instrumentals in his bedroom and building up to working with Danny Brown and The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. His stuff's quite amazing – you could watch videos of him sampling and working an MPC, can of Irn-Bru by his side, for hours – and he's built up something of a cult following in the hip hop production worlds with his work.

The problem with Drum Circle (and the whole of 'A Short Album', at that) is that there isn't really a lot a writer can say about it besides the fact that it's amazingly-crafted music: just listen.
