Jai Paul - Jasmine

Jai Paul dropped this brand new single on his Soundcloud last night with little announcement or excitement.

Slow and sinister, it’s the first we’ve heard of the mysterious artist since he released BTSU online two years ago – a track that went on to become so huge that Drake sampled it.

Now, the London-based producer is signed to XL Recordings, and by the sounds of things, he’s been spending his time listening to the Drive soundtrack and making yet more of his bittersweet pop. The new track is called ‘Jasmine’, and it’s a worthy follow-up to the song that everyone fell in love with in 2010, instilling hope in the listener that, finally, much more is to come.
