Jacques Greene introduces his latest track, ‘Faded’, as a track made “many many months ago”, released now in an effort to “shed the past”.

Set to appear on a compilation EP celebrating the best of Greene’s already outstanding label, Vase, alongside tracks by Zodiac, Ango, Arclight and Samoyed, ‘Faded’ is a wondrous two-minute slice of familiar, wistful sounds. Rolling, dreaming synths streaked through with mournful R&B vocal samples, ‘Faded’ feels classic, bygone and fresh all at once, presenting old, familiar Greene-ish sounds in a brand new package.
