Holiday Shores – We Couldn’t Be Together [stream]

Check out this beach-y, summery song, delivered to you by the lo-fi indie pop group.

06.10.11

Tallahassee lo-fi indie pop group Holiday Shores are due to release their second album ‘New Masses For Squaw Peak’ at the end of this month, forthcoming on Half Machine. But before that, the four piece will put out a single, titled ‘We Couldn’t Be Together’, on 17th October as a prelude to their album.

We Couldn’t Be Together is distinctively summery; the use of 60s organ sounds heavily draws out its tropical and beach-y aesthetic, making it sound a bit like the Beach Boys meet Tears For Fears meet Donald Fagen. Check it below.
