Warpaint and Moby to feature on a Duran Duran covers album

Popstars of today salute the popstars of yesterday in a bound-to-be-quite-fun charity album.

LA four-piece Warpaint, electronic wizard Moby and Swedish dance-poppers Little Dragon are among the confirmed names for a new Duran Duran covers album.

LA-based label Manimal Vinyl are the ones behind it, having previously released cover albums dedicated to the likes of David Bowie and The Cure. This time around the album, titled 'Making Patterns Rhyme', will raise funds for Amnesty International, and will features covers of "album cuts and B-sides" rather than the songs the irrepressible 80s hitmakers are most well-known for. More artists are set to be announced in January, along with the complete tracklist. For now, get a glimpse of the tracklist and line-up below.

Tracklist
Warpaint – The Chauffeur
Little Dragon – Save A Prayer
Barbarian – Late Bar

Update: This story originally said that Grimes would be contributing a track to the album, but this was based on false reports. Shame!
