Grace Jones will publish a memoir

Grace Jones is publishing a memoir.

I'll Never Write My Memoirs covers Jones' life, from starting as a model to her disco years to her work with Andy Warhol to her Hollywood film appearances.

The title comes from the first line of her song Art Groupie. "First line said ‘I’ll never write my memoirs’ — that was a long time ago. Since then, I thought, if I don’t do it, somebody else will," Jones said in a statement.

The book will be available from September 29th.
