Good news: fabric set to re-open

After its shock closure following a drug-related death back in September, iconic London clubbing institution fabric has been given the green-light to re-open.

It's still uncertain as to when the Farringdon club will officially be back in business, but it must adhere to some pretty strict rules around security for the license to be reinstated by Islington Council – including no under 18s on the premises at weekends, increased CCTV, ID scanning and lifetime bans to be enforced on anybody caught with drugs in their possession.

Negativity aside, it feels like a nod in the right direction for London's nightlife, bearing in mind the shocking rate of closures the city has seen over the past 12 months.

We looked over some of the best tweets celebrating the win from key figures within the music industry, from the club's heartfelt thanks for the public's support to die-hard fan of the club, Eats Everything. Catch just some of the best responses to the news below, and stay tuned to here more on the official opening date.
