Friendly Fires and Foals launch new club night at London's Plastic People

Tonight will see the first installment of Deep Shit - a new party organised by members Friendly Fires and Foals.

Jack Savidge of Friendly Fires and Edwin Congreave of Foals are debuting a new party – Deep Shit – as London’s Plastic People nightclub tonight, featuring guest Orlando Higginbottom, aka electro/ house producer Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, who is known for his uncomprising jungle and wide-ranging, fluid house DJ sets. In a press release, the duo explained the house music policy of Deep Shit: “Having ruined the hopes and dreams of thousands of young indie music fans by rocking up to their DJ gigs with a nothing but techno, they’ve now decided to establish a clear home for themselves here in London-a place for deep, intense party music.”

Jack and Edwin co-host a monthly show on NTS Radio with resident Adam Parylak, who will be playing a “typically unorthodox” warmup set at Deep Shit. Radio podcasts can be listened back here.
