‘May you live in interesting times’ goes a supposedly old Chinese curse that initally sounds like a blessing, and with the twenty first century shaping up to be one of the most ‘interesting’ periods in the history of mankind, we’d be liars if we said we weren’t a little bit worried for both our immediate future and that of our children and their children after that. We’re not alone in our fears – or our hopes – and with that in mind we asked this week’s guest editors, social activists and all round good time guys Formation to curate a special politically themed playlist to capture the mood of the time and soundtrack the current climate.
