Spectrum Spools is the new sub-label from the ever-brilliant Editions Mego (Emeralds, Bruce Gilbert, Oneohtrix Point Never). One of their first releases is the debut album of New York synth band Forma, whose stretches of spidery textures moving with the stuttering insistence of krautrock. The group have also worked on film scores in the past, which shows through in their ability to build the kind of pulsing, hypnotic wormhole this record is. Stream the album below, and let the pendulum swing.
