Amongst 4th July celebrations yesterday, FlyLo spent his time uploading a free mix for his fans of “some of my favourite songs ever”. Lovers Melt 2 is the follow-up to Lovers Melt, a Stones Throw mix of “records found in the valley” that FlyLo threw together back in May; and this time, it’s personal.

Largely made up of instrumentals and tracks in other languages, this dreamy two hour mix is made for summer afternoons and steamy, bass-driven moments. Artists featured include William DeVaughn and Stevie Wonder, as well as 70s outfit Brainstorm with their largely-forgotten energetic hit Wake Up and Be Somebody. The mix, though, holds its own without a tracklist, as the songs swoon and soak into one another as the summer sun makes everything a little bit hazy.

It’s a large file, but well worth the effort – get it here
