FKA twigs details Manchester International Festival performances

Soundtrack 7 invites audiences to see FKA twigs' creative process as she creates film and dance performances based on seven narratives from her own life.

FKA twigs has detailed her residency at Manchester International Festival.

Soundtrack 7, taking place at Manchester's Old Granada Studios from July 9th to 15th, sees FKA twigs work with collaborators to create a film and a dance-based performance piece in which she'll explore seven narratives from her own life.

Audiences will be invited to the studio to observe the process of creating the piece in small groups.

Although the free tickets to the initial phase of Soundtrack 7 are gone, anyone not attending can still follow parts of the creative process via Inside Soundtrack 7, a website created to offer insight into the way that twigs works.

Following this, FKA twigs will premiere the work made during the residency at four special live performances at the Old Granada Studios, taking place on Friday July 16th and Saturday July 17th at 5.30pm and 9.30pm.

Tickets for the perfrmances go on sale at 12pm on Friday July 3rd, and will cost £12 (with a £5 discount for concessions).
