Felicita - Chlo/Bring It

South London producer Felicita recently shared a couple of new ones with Chlo and Bring It. Felicita’s sounds have impressed so far, with the pogo rave of jing and the sugar-high 1-ups of always maestoso from the ‘(>’.’)>#’ EP – which you can still get a free download of here. Chlo commences with a drawn out female voice which feels lifted directly from a Burial breakdown, before a bodacious beat and a chipmunk voice repeating “obviously I murdered it” comes in – offering comparisons to Balam Acab’s recent free EP of cheeky hip hop demolitions. Meanwhile, Bring It’s spitfire rhythms go in for similar levels of Eastern fetishisation as present on the surprisingly stirring slavs wi sparkley eyes. Stream both charmingly chaotic tunes below.
