Evening talk series Nightlab returns to explore 'How Nightlife Saved The World'

The free event by Mixcloud and Eventbrite returns this month...

Nightlab, the event series thrown in collaboration by Mixcloud and Eventbrite, will return this November, bringing together an array of the most influential figures in UK dance music.

Taking a look into UK club culture’s past, present and future, the event promises a double bill of discussions: session one brings together two figures of the “Madchester” scene – namely Greg Wilson and A Guy Called Gerald in a ‘How Nightlife Saved The World’ conversation hosted by Bill Brewster.

Session two (‘Building A New Underground Resistance’) will examine the resurgence of politically-fuelled nightlife, with speakers confirmed including Frankie Decaiza Hutchinson, co-founder of Discwoman, Nadine Artois, co-founder of Pxssy Palace, who’ll discuss the new wave of cultural activists currently fighting for inclusivity on dancefloors.

The evening will be introduced by Harjeet Sahota, senior policy advisor to the Youth Violence Commission, Labour Youth Officer for Camberwell and Peckham.

The event takes place on November 28th 2018 at London Tanner Warehouse, 6-9pm.

Tickets are free but you need to register – head here to do so.
