Dummy Presents: Summer's Over at The Halcyon, New York

Summer’s over and you’ve just got to let it go. To make the process a little easier, we’ve invited some of our favourites down to play the New York arm of Dummy Presents this October.

Brooklyn-based duo Melati and Isaac are experimental dream pop duo Young Magic. Travelling the world and amassing field recordings to weave magically into their other-worldly output, the pair’s set is bound to be both all-encompassing and spell-binding at the same damn time.

Fresh off the back of her ‘Transphobic’ EP, self-made Bronx-based goddess Quay Dash will be taking us deep into her world of razor-sharp raps and perfectly poised music for the club.

Producer, DJ, graphic artist, and Track Meet co-boss Ynfynyt Scroll is going to be rolling thru’ for a tropical set packed with sun-soaked set of reggaeton, baile funk, and bashment inspired screwed electronic.

R&B pop singer, songwriter and producer Richie Quake makes music that should be felt, so with that in mind, come join us at The Halycon where he’ll be performing an exclusive live set that’s sure to score the perfect soundtrack for getting lost in a whirlwind of emotions.

DJ support comes from dastardly duo Can You Not.

As always, entry is free with a simple RSVP to nyc@dummymag.com and you can keep up to date with line-up announcements on the Facebook event page.

Dummy Presents: Summer’s Over on October 27th at The Halcyon, Output, Brooklyn.
