Dummy Presents: Escape From Nature at Elvis Guesthouse, New York

Taking the hotseat for our May edition of Dummy Presents in New York is local boutique label, Escape From Nature. Headed up by our dancehall and bashment connoisseur Orlando Volcano – the imprint was established early last year to observe, disregard and redefine the boundaries of club music and has been going from strength to strength ever since.

A dab hand at super-charged percussion, soul-drenched beats and juke-worthy curveballs (see SHOOTEM’UP with Fugitive), AceMo will be heading up the EFN bill. Expect a set that daubs the club in all colours if his eclectic genre-rainbow. Damn, that’s poetic.

Producer, DJ, graphic artist, and Track Meet co-boss Ynfynyt Scroll is going to be on hand with his sun-soaked selections spanning reggaeton, bashment and screwed electronic. We’re expecting a set full to the brim with #FEELINGS.

Fresh off the back of his Dummy backed twilight joyride channelling remix of WWWINGS’ Ride High and last year’s collaborative EP ‘Relax & Rolex’ with Orlando Volcano, Brooklyn’s Copout will also be making an appearance.

Last but definitely not least, Escape From Nature bossman Orlando Volcano will be keeping us hot like fire with his cushty blend of electronic club music, peppered with dancehall and bashment influences (make haste to his Ramping Shop refix).
