DIY London venue The Cause programmes Derrick May, Skee Mask and more for autumn

Ex-car mechanics depot The Cause in Tottenham continues its consistently strong run of bookings by tapping some of Detroit and Chicago’s heritage selectors.

The crowdfunded club opened in April, with a DIY ethos and membership scheme that aims to channel money back into local community projects and mental health charities.

Detroit techno innovator Kenny Larkin will make a rare UK appearance on October 6th, while Derrick May is set to do a Halloween takeover, with Detroit’s K-Hand and Delano Smith billed for the 20th. Boo Williams from Chicago will spin on the 13th, while eclectic selector Mark Grusane is also set to perform.

Other acts include DJ Pierre (who’ll be spinning a rare acid set), plus Skee Mask, DMX Krew (live), DJ Haus, Jimpster, Machine Woman, Vakula and Neil Landstrumm, plus many more.
