DANCE - Rave

Sam Purcell, better known as DANCE, is the owner of Blank Mind. The London-via-Newcastle producer, who is also a Dummy mix alumni, has announced on his fanpage earlier that the fourth release of the label is being mastered and prepared. No further information is provided, but Purcell posted a new ambient cut called Want Some Noise a few weeks back, and he’s followed this up with a new track called Rave, uploaded only two days ago, available for streaming below.

Launched only two years ago, Blank Mind’s small but impressive catalogue is home to producers like Dance Mania’s DJ Clent, Grenada’s Sandman and Adrian Lenz, as well as Purcell himself, whose 90s rave-leaning debut ‘Still/ Ha’ EP is one of the most brilliant yet overlooked releases from 2012. No release date has been announced, but expect Blank Mind 004 to be out on vinyl soon.
