Thank God, Chromatics are back with new album and single

Slow, uneasy disco band return after four years in the studio.

Chromatics are a band from Portland, Oregon, that make sumptuous, slow and slightly violent disco songs and haven’t really released anything since 2007’s ‘Night Drive’ album on Italians Do It Better. Happily, Chromatics will be following label-mates Glass Candy with a new album in January.

The below was written on their Facebook page:

Our new album Kill For Love is finished & will be out in January! Between now & then, we’ll be leaking videos & singles from it. The first single “Kill For Love” is out now on iTunes, & Alberto Rossini’s beautiful video for the single is up on YouTube. The 12″ version with exclusive trax on the b side coming soon. 2012 is going to be insane! Kicking it off right with a huge Italians Do It Better party in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve! Live sets from Glass Candy, Desire, & Chromatics. Plus DJ sets from Mike Simonetti & friends all night long. See you there!
