Fantastic experimental pop label celebrates its second birthday with a shimmery full-length release, taking you on a tour of its finest musicians.

Cascine are a label that span oceans both in terms of geography and genre; in terms of the artists they bring together, the sounds they combine and the influences they work under, their output is constantly eclectic, diverse and engaging.

Over the past two years since their conception, Cascine have provided our ears with sweeping, swooning pop from the likes of Chad Valley, Jensen Sportag, Erika Spring and Southern Shores. Today, in recognition of this achievement, the label have released Standouts 2010 – 2012. Spanning all the sounds that the label bosses claim to have sourced intuitively, going with “music that feels right to us as people”, the fourteen tracks provide a glimmering tribute to experimental pop in all its internationally flavoured forms.
