Tingling and gentle, new single Virus is a glimpse into the introspective heart of Icelandic star Bjork’s upcoming project Biophilia .

Rising in electronic harmonies, the lyrics of this track are stark and cutting, evoking the characteristics of a parasitic virus and stating “I’m starving for you”. As ever, in Bjork’s tensely beautiful voice, the words linger and sway in a way that forces you to listen. Accompanied by jangling bells and a waterfall of electronic effects, the overall result is something you will want to listen to over and over, in an attempt to hear each of its layers.
