Big Dope P - Ibogance

French, London-based producer Big Dope P arrives on Nightwave's label Heka Trax with the 'Hit Da Blokk' EP.

Big Dope P's rap/Ghetto house/electro/juke hybrids have caught the ear of labels like Moveltraxx, LuckyMe, and Ed Banger, who have all tapped the French, London-based producer for tracks or remixes over the past couple of years.

'Hit Da Blokk' is Big Dope P's latest EP and it lands on Heka Trax, the label run by Nightwave. You can see why the two artists might get along: there's a shared love of hip hop, club music, and the less beardy (i.e. better) end of techno at play between both producers. Ibogance is a track from 'Hit Da Blokk' that's part-rave, part-boogie, part-footwork – and all fire.

The rest of the EP is wicked too – there's a collab with Ed Banger's Feadz, and remixes from DJ Earl, Ikonika, and Rustie.
