Big announcements for Bloc Weekend and Camden Crawl

Bumper new additions to the line-ups for two 2012 London festivals.

The electronic music festival Bloc, relocated to East London this year, has added the triumvirate of Steve Reich, Richie Hawtin and – somewhat suprisingly – Snoop Dogg to its already stellar bill. The three new acts will join Orbital, Nicholas Jaar, Jacques Greene and DOOM amongst plenty of others and the complete line-up and further information is available over at the official Bloc 2012 website..

In other related news the line-up for this year’s Camden Crawl has also been bolstered today with the announcement of a slew of acts to its 300-strong bill. Set in various venues over the May Bank Holiday weekend the it was been revealed that the festival will feature performances from the likes of post-punk legends The Raincoats, Actress – whose third album ‘R.I.P’ is due next month – and newer artists Kwes and production duo Disclosure. Full details of the festival of the Crawl can be be found here.
