Azekel - Be Mine '03

The London producer and vocalist offers up a sumptuous new track.

Londoner Azekel last caught our ears with his mash-up of XXYYXX and T Rex, a combination that sounds unlikely on paper but had some kind of magic that meant we couldn't stop listening to it. Now, he's due to release his debut EP 'Circa' next month, and if the bubbling garage-inflected single Be Mine '03 is anything to go by its production style (thanks to co-producer Blacksmif) will be much looser and collage-like, sounding a little like the production work of Sampha or Frank Ocean's early sketches. Plus – just listen to that voice.

The 'Circa' EP will be released on the 28th October 2013.
