Autechre's ultra-rare debut EP finally rereleased

Mortals finally able to hear long-thought-lost first record from IDM band under Lego Feet.

Autechre’s Rob Brown and Sean Booth originally recorded as Lego Feet, and released a self-titled 12” EP in 1991 on Skam before Warp released the essential ‘Incunabula’ album. Rarer than hen’s teeth, it’s now finally being re-released on CD, so will be available to those interested in British techno but not willing to spend £300 on a 12”. FACT, who broke this story, said that “sonically it’s a close cousin to Autechre’s debut album, Incunabula, but with a crunchier sound, and one more obviously indebted to acid house”, and it will be out on the 1st December.
