Autechre have released 'Exai' a month early

The duo's 11th album is available to download on Bleep and iTunes now.

Electronic pioneers Autechre have made their new album ‘Exai’ available for purchase online, a month ahead of its original release date. The double LP, their first full-length since 2010’s ‘Oversteps’, was scheduled for digital release on Warp at the start of March. The physical release date of 5th March doesn’t appear to have changed.

Rob Brown and Sean Booth do have previous on this; ‘Move of Ten’ emerged on Warp’s Bleep store three weeks before its scheduled release date in June 2010. Even despite the lack of fanfare, the Bleep site slowed to a crawl this afternoon due to the increased traffic.
