Ariel’s ‘In-N-Out’ is a pop-tinged ode to our throwaway, fast food culture
Following up her pair of dark-hearted party anthems ‘All Night’ and ‘We Bring Our Friends’, British solo singer/producer Ariel has brought a brand new cut to the table.
After previously releasing music under a different moniker, Ariel underwent a creative rebirth that has seen her showcasing her euphoric pop with a dark edge.
‘In-N-Out’ takes its name from the American Southwest and Pacific fast food chain, and explores the idea of our throwaway culture with a focus on immediacy – and how people are already onto the next thing with a scroll of their social media feeds.
A lavishly textured cut that you can file under both pop and hip-hop, it builds up to a candy-painted chorus with an introspective undertone, warranting repeat listens.
