Apollo relaunch with new EP

Famous ambient techno label to return with EP from Manchester's Synkro.

Apollo is name with some real clout and the Belgian imprint will return a new EP – the first new material since a compilation in 2009 – by Manucian producer Synkro.

A sub-label of the equally revered R&S Records Apollo was at its most active in the 90s releasing albums like Biosphere’s ‘Microgravity’, Cabaret Voltaire’s ‘The Conversation’ and the seminal ‘Selected Ambient Works 85-92’ by Aphex Twin. Apollo hope to make the jump to releasing contemporary music as successfully as their parent label and are already working with two other upcoming producers, Jack Dixon and Submerse, on future projects.

Synkro’s EP, ‘Broken Promises’ will be released by Apollo on April 2nd.
