XI - Squeeze

Orca Recordings haven’t been around for too long – they are four releases old to be exact – but they’ve been responsible for some exemplary music, such as Hyetal’s euphoric Phoenix and xxxy’s You Gotta Do release. ‘Squeeze’ is the second release on the label by XI, and is out this week. You can hear both tracks below – Squeeze is a jittery, feathery shuffle of a track, an eerie vocal chopped and beguilingly insistent. Immunity moves at a more stately pace, a solid example of sparse and dark garage done well.
