This summer London bass music label Senseless Records celebrate five years in the business of releasing booming tunes from around the world. To mark the occasion they’ve dreamt up Synesthesia, a five-part series of limited edition 12“s. Each release focuses on one of the five senses and comes with a specially created artwork. First up is smell with art by graffiti artist Song and a trio of 130bpm bombs from UK grime duo Rossi B & Luca and Polish producers The Phantom and Venice Calypso, the latter of whose contribution can be downloaded on the right. Drifting is all about the boing, packing elasticated beats that hustle their way into your shoulder muscles to take you down, down, down. It’s on the nose, alright.
