Following ‘Demons’, where Tom Did It and tmdistant tackled mental health issues, production talent Tom Did It continues his string of sung-rap cuts with ‘Like Me’.
Drawing influence from US rap greats like Travis Scott and Post Malone, the track blends auto-tuned ad-libs with widescreen production, and we’ve been working with the 17-year-old on the track via our DMY Artists.
“I just wanted a song people can get super hyped to and also have a slight meaning behind it,” Tom Did It says of the track. “The song is basically a hate message to the ones that never supported me or liked me back before I did music, but now they see me making moves, and they’re coming back.”
