Stormzy joins Ghana rapper Yaw Tog on the remix of 'Sore'

In September last year, a drill track originating from Ghana began catching fire: Yaw Tog’s ‘Sore‘.

The 17-year-old up-and-coming MC went viral, getting noticed by some of the world’s biggest stars, including Stormzy. During a trip to Ghana at the turn of the year, Stormzy ended up performing his ‘Sore’ verse at UPP Fest.

The official remix featuring fellow Ghanaian Kwesi Arthur is now out, along with a visual shot in West Africa.

Speaking about the collaboration to DJ Mag, Yaw Tog said: “I didn’t even imagine I’d get someone like Stormzy on the remix. He’s a big one out there! What’s surprising is he came to my management, like ‘Yo, let’s get this done’. Wow. I think God is really working.”

The track, produced by Chris Rich Beats, who has worked with M1llionz, Aitch and more, comes ahead of Yaw Tog’s debut, 7-track EP ‘TIME’ which drops on March 25th.
