Speedboat share new wave-influenced 'Split The Bill' EP in full

Hot on the heels of singles ‘bigboy123‘ and ‘Dog Toy’, Brighton-based sibling duo Speedboat share their ‘Split The Bill’ EP in full.

Out today, we’ve been working on the six-tracked release with Moshi Moshi’s digital imprint 0800-MOSHI-MOSHI via our DMY Artists.

Brothers Johnny and Will Griffiths have been making music together in their seaside hometown since 2017, finding inspiration in their father’s collection of vinyl spanning ’80s pop, indie and new wave.

The band are fans of late ’70s and early ’80s cinema, and single ‘bigboy123’ narrates the tale of a camera shop clerk who becomes infatuated with a customer. “A recurring theme is fictional romance and narratives,” the band say of their music.
