Son Lux - Redone (Feat. Olga Bell)

On their most recent album 'Bones', Son Lux roped in vocal contributions from Moses Sumney, Daughter's Elena Tonra, and more, as well as expanding the line-up of the project with guitarist Rafiq Bhatia and drummer Ian Chang. The decision to further outlay Ryan Lott's vision for the group resulted in their strongest and most consistent work yet: there has been a sense that the project has always been a collaborative one, and with a new version of upcoming single Undone (premiering below), the fact has been tested once again.

Entitled Redone and featuring rising Brooklyn-based vocalist Olga Bell, the newly disguised track arrives ahead of Lott and Bell's European tour that begins this week. On Redone, Bell takes the lead vocals, giving voice to the claustrophobic freneticism caused by guitar swarthes and skittery percussive-beats. It sounds like a continuum of the similarly ominous album track White Lies – both of which are dark and industrial enough to soundtrack a dystopian thriller – as it peaks with a jittery consclusion which should prove a crowd favourite with Halloween on the horizon.
