Snowy shows off his ice-cold flows on new Risky Roadz freestyle

Hailing from Nottingham, MC Snowy has grime’s DIY attitude pulsating through his veins. The rising wordsmith has been tipped for a bright future in the game earning a worthy place in our 20 Most Exciting Artists For 2020 list.

Since sending for the whole of the grime scene on a single track, the young lyricist has continued to hone his craft collaborating with Jason Williamson on the politically-injected song ‘EFFED’ released in the run up to the general election via our DMY Recordings label.

Now, Snowy marks his return in the form of a new Risky Roadz freestyle. Spitting over a fist-clenching beat, the MC delivers a non-stop flurry of heavy-hitting lyrics proving to everyone that the buzz surrounding him is not without good reason.

“I hate doing freestyles for Youtube but Roony’s my don so of course I had to come through and represent Nottingham. GREEZE.” said the rapper.

The grime artist also recently took part in a new Pirate Studios YouTube series called Dual Frequency which brings together two producers and two MCs as they work against the clock in a bid to create the best original track from scratch.

Snowy teamed up with producer Sumgii to create their track as they faced off against Kabz and his production partner Nutty P.

Featuring producers Nutty P, Sumgii, Splurt Diablo (aka Merky Ace), Cautious, Sam Binga and Yazzus, the first season of the new series will roll out across three episodes dropping every two weeks, having already recently premiered on 27th January. Watch the first episode here.
