Snowy nods to an ex-Newcastle United player on the explosive 'Nile Ranger'

It's another fire-paced outing from the Notts MC...

After a great start to the year which saw him shut down his Risky Roadz freestyle, Nottingham MC Snowy is back with ‘Nile Ranger’.

Having first picked up a mic aged twelve, Snowy quickly established himself as one of the driving forces in the exciting local grime scene that put the small Midlands city on the UK music map.

The Notts lyricist has previously teamed up with Sleaford Mods’ Jason Williamson on ‘EFFED’, a politically-charged track released via our DMY Recordings label which took a critical look at the state of the country in the run-up to the last general election.

Out today, ‘Nile Ranger’ is an explosive homage to the former Newcastle United player who was often in the headlines for getting in trouble with the law. It’s first track from Snowy’s ‘#STR8DROPS’ series, aiming to get people ready for his forthcoming EP.

Produced by Kyeza, the beat’s weightiness matches Snowy’s barrage of razor-sharp rhymes. Listen to ‘Nile Ranger’:
