slowthai reveals punchy birthday single 'Thoughts'

slowthai has shared ‘Thoughts’, a brand new single to celebrate his 26th birthday.

Unlike the Northampton rapper’s last two tracks ‘nhs’ and ‘feel away’, the new release will not feature on his forthcoming sophomore record ‘TYRON’, which is set to drop on February 5th.

Linking up with long time collaborator JD. Reid for the production, slowthai weighs in with a heavy onslaught of flows comparable to some of his earlier work.

A$AP Rocky, Skepta, TK and Dominic Fike will join the likes of James Blake and Mount Kimbie on the new album, following on from his Mercury Award-nominated debut project ‘Nothing Great About Britain’.
