Skrillex and Four Tet team up on new track 'Butterflies'

It's a garage-pop cut complete with fizzy hooks and warbled vocals

Skrillex, Four Tet and singer-songwriter Starrah have teamed up on a brand new track, ‘Butterflies’.

The new cut marks the first official new music of the dubstep producer’s since 2019’s ‘Midnight Hour‘.

Skrillex and Four Tet are longtime collaborators and DJ partners, having played b2b together over the years, including at Warehouse Project.

‘Butterflies’ follows a mammoth amount of recent material from Four Tet, including collaborating with Madlib on ‘Sound Ancestors‘, a Burial and Thom Yorke collaboration ‘Her Revolution’ and ‘His Rope’, plus his first-ever d&b remix of Krust’s ‘Negative Returns’.
