Shygirl teases her debut album with twinkling club-ready single 'Firefly'
Shygirl has shared a brand new single to go alongside the announcement of her debut full-length album ‘Nymph’.
Entitled ‘Firefly’, the experimental pop artist’s latest offering is a glitchy club-ready cut introducing the innovative sound that will be explored in more detail on the forthcoming 12-track project.
Created with a close-knit group of friends and previous collaborators including Mura Masa, Sega Bodega, Karma Kid, Arca and Cosha, alongside producers Noah Goldstein, Danny L Harle, BloodPop, Vegyn and Kingdom, ‘Nymph’ exhibits a new level of intimacy and emotional depth in Shygirl’s songwriting.
News of the album follows Shygirl’s collaboration with FKA twigs on the ‘Caprisongs’ track ‘papi bones’, along with the late 2021 offering ‘Cleo’.
‘Nymph’ is due to release on September 30, following a busy summer schedule which will see the UK-based songstress perform at various festivals across Europe, including Primavera, We Love Green, Dour Festival, Katowice Festival and more.
