Roll The Dice’s self-titled debut album, which came out last year, was a series of haunting analogue landscapes. Informed perhaps in part by the two band members previous work – Peder Mannerfelt’s as a member of Fever Ray, and Malcolm Pardon’s work composing music for film and TV.
They’re currently in the process of working on a second album. But for Record Store Day, they’re releasing a live version of two tracks from their debut. Here you can exclusively stream second track The New Black, which crawls forward somewhere between sinister and ghostly, and spacey chimes, always retaining a warm, organic glow through the hum of hands-on electronics. Pick it up on limited-to-750 vinyl tomorrow.
