Pryme Kingz veer towards the dance floor with vibrant 'Violate' remix

The remix is the first of a fresh series of singles that will be released throughout 2023...

Up-and-coming South London music collective Pryme Kingz have released a remixed version of their ‘Violate’ single.

The Afro-beat trio have enjoyed a recent run of form which has seen them put out a number of tracks this year, including ‘No Scrubs’ and ‘Dilemma’, as well as the aforementioned cut.

Consisting of Freeze Pryme, La’al Pryme and Prelude DM, the three members met as teenagers at school where they would spend their time collaborating and experimenting with music. Now establishing themselves in the industry with their nostalgic R&B-laced anthems, the three Kingz have titled their distinctive output: “soundtracks to real life”.

The group’s passion for diversity can be heard coursing the veins of their latest release, splicing elements of Latin music, Afrobeats, dancehall and hip hop to toast a vibrant sound made for the dance floor. Adding some extra flare to the more stripped-back hip hop feeling of the original, the Marc TC-featuring remix raises the energy a few notches both vocally and through the production.

After gaining over 1.2 million streams last year and considerable support from industry heads such as DJ Ace, Mistajam and Ras Kwame, this remix is the first of a fresh series of singles that will be released throughout 2023.
