Premiere: Menachem 26 - Nem

Existing between the world's first known continents, Menachem's ancestors have been to Western Europe to Northen Africa and the Middle East. In 1926, Menachem came to this life with a cultural inheritance, creating a family in the middle of his ancient geography. When he died, he briefly manageed to see his grandson, but the grandson has no recollection of his grandfather. When the grandson 'Menachem' learns the meaning of his name he decides to seek for his grandfather's legacy. After this search he found the legacy within the riffs of the strings, within the touches to percussions.  He then added modern riffs in order to create a bridge to his contemporary taste. And this is what mysterious producer Menachem 26 is sharing: "A legacy from a grandfather to a grandson".

Today, he premieres a new track, 'Nem' and, breaking it down to Dummy, he said: "I'd say the idea with this track is the backbone of this path. Most probably my grandfather was listening to the original version of this hymn when he was at my age. And when this thought came to my mind in the first place I thought it'd be a really good start point. I let the vocals and baglama (Turkish string instrument) lead the track and I tried to ornament the track with my touch of rhythm to give some groove with the arps.”
