Signed to 37 Adventures, West London’s Measure For Measure is a producer to watch, helming distinctive, textural shades of electronic pop.

Formerly an in-house producer at Abbey Road – responsible for Emily Burns’ ‘Test Drive’ and Badgirl$‘s ‘Stella’ – you can file his atmospheric, beat-driven productions next to Flume, Snakehips and SBTRKT.

Released today, second outing ‘PaperCuts’ marries his lush, spacious production next to lyrics that raises an eyebrow at traditional love song content.

“’PaperCuts’ is a pop song about a fatal attraction,” he explains. “Initially written on a hangover, it’s about the pleasure/pain of young love. I tried to incapsulate obsession, rejection, intimacy and all the emotions that come with it.”

With debut EP ‘Calories’ is in the works for release in the coming months, you can listen to ‘PaperCuts’ now.
