Premiere: Edwin Organ - 'Missing the T' EP

Glasgow based, Ayr raised producer Edwin Organ is something of an anomaly. Giving up a career as a prolific dance prodigy to undertake four years of reclusive composition, he holed himself up in the remote Ayrshire countryside before making his pilgrimage to the cultural hub of Glasgow, producing forward thinking, vibrant, heart warming singles and embarking on the festival circuit.

This has led him to the present day, as he shares his new EP, Missing the T. Across four tracks, including the pre-released title track, Edwin morphs his unique production style into a tight alt-pop package, his distinct charm flowing through textures akin to LCD Soundsystem and Mac DeMarco, but with searing originality that separates him from the emerging indie punk coming out of Scotland. With such a colourful wall of sound and tender vocals, Organ has struck gold in a very short time.
