Made in London, remixed in Paris and Japan, put out by Belfast label, G3’s ‘Koriko‘ is a truly global project. The UK-based producer’s debut LP ‘Garden Reach’ came out in 2016 – but he’s been sporadically releasing since then.
‘Koriko’ fits together genres including electronica, grime, dubstep and footwork, with ‘ø’, one of the EP’s tracks, is named after the genre-spanning Corsica Studios clubnight put on by Kode9, a favourite of G3’s.
Paradoxe club co-founder and one of G3’s favourite producers, DeGrandi follows up blazing EP ’11-100-JAILLE’ with a remix on the flip, alongside Amor Satyr and Daisuke Tanabe. Taking things deep and dark, the atmospheric remix revolves around slamming percussion, and you can listen to it in full below.
G3’s ‘Koriko’ is released by Rudimentary Records on September 4th 2020 – pre-order it here.
