Premiere: Cotton Claw - Naked (Slugabed Remix)

French label Cascade are prepping the debut release from Cotton Claw – a four-man producer team-up comprising Lilea Narrative, Zo aka La Chauve-Souris, YoggyOne and Zerolex. The EP also pulls in a few remixers: Julien Mier, Kelpe and Slugabed.

Slugabed's a name that's floated about for longer than you might realise (he did a glitch-heavy mix for Dummy waaay back in 2009), but he was in fine form with 'DO U C ME THO / U RIGHT' for Ninja Tune in December, and he's shared a couple of wacky, trap-py tidbits in the months since. Here he offers up an astute take on Naked, isolating the original's vocal parts before crafting a grandiose, colourful stomper.
