Premiere: Catnapp gives BABii's 'POiiSON' a bold, ice-coated rework

Margate artist BABii has a distinctly otherworldly aura to her. Aside from her unique typographical stylings, her fairytale, ice-coated electro-pop sound (including ‘SEiiZURE’ which we premiered recently) has drawn comparisons with Grimes and FKA twigs.

Her debut album, ‘HiiDE’, is arriving next month via Deathwaltz Originals – in parts co-produced by Adrian Sherwood, BABii has said it focuses on the themes of secrets and hiding, with influences as diverse as J0Jo and the Pocahontas soundtrack.

Argentinian artist Amparo Battaglia aka Catnapp has reworked BABii’s ‘POiiSON’, giving the dreamy original a shimmering, Rustie-esque gleam – and we’re premiering it now below.
